'Big Choices on Buses' events (WECA survey) - Saltford Parish Council

SPC shared its news article ‘Big Choices on Buses’ WECA Survey – Have your say on bus travel across the region‘ in July to raise awareness that the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) is currently holding a “big conversation” on buses. 

The survey is available until 31 August.  Find out more and take part.

Local organisations are also organising events to gather views and SPC has been made aware of three as follows:

Keynsham Town Council – Big Choices on Buses Event

Keynsham Town Council is holding an event on Thursday 25 August from 7pm – 8.30pm in The Space (above Keynsham Library) 5 Temple St, BS31 1HA.  There are limited places so please register your interest by emailing the Deputy Town Clerk.  If you need more information, they can be contacted on 0117 986 8683.

B&NES Webinar – The Future of B&NES Bus Services

Bath & North East Somerset Council is hosting an online webinar on Wednesday 24 August from 2pm to 4pm. Registration information was shared by SPC in advance (end date 23 Aug).

The results from the B&NES Council webinar will be collated and given to the West of England Combined Authority, to ensure the views of those in Bath and North East Somerset are heard.

The webinar will be available to watch on the council’s YouTube channel shortly afterwards.

Chew Valley Big Choices on Buses Event

The Chew Valley Area Forum Climate & Nature Emergency Working Group’s Sustainable Transport Subgroup are working with the WECA Mayor’s office to organise an event on Wednesday 31 August 6.30pm – 8.30pm at Bishop Sutton Village Hall BS39 5XJ.  Join them to have your say and hear about the innovative ideas being considered to enable the Chew Valley to be properly connected by bus.  All are welcome.
