B&NES Community Resilience Day – 19 Sept 2026, Hicks Gate Fire Station

The annual B&NES Community Resilience Day is taking place on 19 September between 11am-3pm, at Hicks Gate Fire Station (Keynsham).

A screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing will be shown as part of B&NES Community Resilience Day, at 12:00pm on 19 Sept at Hicks Gate Fire Station. It explores practical steps communities and individuals can take to prepare for emergencies and respond effectively when they occur. “We are pleased to invite you to the B&NES Community Resilience Day, organised by Bath & North East Somerset Council and hosted at Avon Fire & Rescue Service, Hicks Gate Fire Station.”

“This year’s event will take a different format from previous years, operating as an open day where attendees are welcome to arrive and leave at their convenience. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore information stands, view emergency response vehicles, and attend the People’s Emergency Briefing at 12:00pm.”

“Refreshments and catering will be provided throughout the day.”

“Please note that parking is not available on site. We encourage all attendees to use public transport where possible.”
