Christmas and New Year waste and recycling collections will be on different dates to the usual Wednesday and Thursday collections in Saltford (depending which side of the A4 you live).
This will affect collections which would normally be scheduled from December 26 to January 6.
The quickest way to find out when your next collection will take place is to enter your post code into the B&NES Council collection day finder webpage.

When recycling Christmas trees either at recycling centres or by pre-booked collections, all decorations must be removed and the tree should be cut in half, to less than 1.2m tall.
Garden waste collections re-start from Monday 16 January 2023.
Don’t forget to book a collection at https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/garden-waste if you would like your Christmas Tree or Garden Waste sacks collected.
Remember to recycle this Christmas – Let’s get it right!
With more rubbish thrown away over the festive period than at any other time of year, residents are being urged to recycle as much waste as possible and to avoid creating waste in the first place by using sustainable alternatives.
As well as sorting your boxes, it is also important to only put in what B&NES Council crews can collect (and not what you hope we can recycle). Crews may not empty it if they have to spend too much time taking out what cannot be recycled. If you are in doubt about what you should put out, please check our website. Remember the following cannot be recycled so please do not leave out for recycling:
X Wrapping paper
X Soft plastics (such as bags and cling film)
X Drinking glasses
X Clothes hangers
