Double Yellow Lines proposed at Manor Road & Justice Avenue – Have your say to B&NES by 4 April

B&NES Council has released information about its Traffic Regulation Order consultation for parking in Keynsham and Saltford for 2024. It includes proposals to introduce Double Yellow Lines (DYLs) in two areas in Saltford. DYLs have been requested by Saltford B&NES Ward Councillors for safety reasons.

These are as follows (as taken from B&NES Council’s report):

  • Plan 10 – Justice Avenue, Saltford – No Parking At Any Time restrictions were requested by the local Ward Member to improve visibility splays at the junction with Claverton Road.
  • Plan 13 – Manor Road, Saltford – No Parking At Any Time restrictions were requested by the local Ward Member on behalf of local residents to prevent obstruction of the highway.

Residents have until 4 April 2024 to submit comments to B&NES Council on this Traffic Regulation Order consultation for DYLs in Saltford and Keynsham.

Saltford Parish Council will resolve its response to this B&NES Council TRO consultation at its Tuesday 2 April meeting.

The Full Council meeting will take place in the Avon Room, Saltford Hall, starting at 7.15pm. The April agenda will be available before the meeting on SPC’s website and noticeboard.
