Residents are advised to take extra care regarding the security of your garages, sheds and other outbuildings. Consider installing an alarm if possible, and secure any valuable items such as pushbikes or expensive tools.
A&S Police say that there were a number of outbuilding burglaries in our area during the night of Mon 30 November and Tuesday 1 December.
This includes CCTV showing three males climbing a 7 foot garden wall and breaking into a shed on Manor Road, Saltford, at approximately 11.40pm on Monday 30 November. Two of the offenders entered the shed and had a look around, although nothing was stolen. They have then approached the back door of the home, possibly to see if it was locked, but there was no sign of damage or attempted entry.
