Pixash Lane road closure & update on Keynsham Recycling Hub project

B&NES Council has shared that roads and footpath restrictions will be in place at or near Pixash Lane, please find the latest information on this Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) which commences on 28 December for 21 days. The TTRO includes no waiting restrictions on Ashmead Road, and no left turn restrictions on Worlds End Lane.

Please use the signposted route via Broadmead Lane roundabout and Ashmead Road while construction work is underway on the new Keynsham Recycling Hub (until Spring 2023).

Saltford Parish Council raised concerns regarding the number of weekends that road works were occurring on the A4 Bath Road in Keynsham, leading to long queues into and through Saltford. B&NES Council stated that recent works in November were due to Western Power infrastructure works and not the Keynsham Recycling Hub project. B&NES Council has said: There is no planned work involving temporary traffic signals or lane closures on the A4 from 1 December through to 2 January. This also applies to all the A roads and main roads in the area and is due to the increased seasonal vehicle and pedestrian traffic flows.
