SPC has been informed by the organisers that an Act of Remembrance will take place at the War Memorial from c.10:45am on Sunday 14th November.
This follows a Remembrance Sunday service at St Mary’s Church – the church office has requested that it is contacted directly by members of the public if they wish to attend so that they can keep track of numbers.
A road closure is in place on surrounding roads on Sunday from 9:45-11:45am. Please see the image below for details, this information is also on SPC’s social media pages.
Cllr Chris Warren, SPC Chair, will lay a wreath at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday on behalf of SPC representing all Saltford residents. Our thanks as always to the Saltford Scouts for arranging the wreath. A donation was made by SPC to the Royal British Legion (via the Scouts) for the wreath.
SPC also sincerely thanks all those involved in planning and contributing to this year’s commemorations including the Saltford Scouts, Saltford District Girl Guiding and St Mary’s Church, Saltford.
