At 11am on Remembrance Sunday, the Royal British Legion is encouraging people to mark the occasion by observing a two minute silence on their doorstep.
There will be no official wreath-laying ceremony at Saltford’s War Memorial this year. Due to Lockdown 2.0 the planned commemorative services at St Mary’s Church can also no longer take place.
Cllr Chris Warren, Chair of SPC, will lay a wreath at the War Memorial at some point on Remembrance Sunday (in line with government guidance) on behalf of Saltford Parish Council and its residents.
