B&NES Council is investing an additional £1million in neighbourhood services, including a ‘Clean and Green’ team which responds to issues reported by residents.

The Clean and Green Team are in Saltford Ward from Monday 22 to Friday 26 January 2024. The team has three cleansing operatives who will respond to cleansing priorities including sweeping, weeding, and litter picking.
To report areas where actions are required, Saltford residents are asked to log as usual with B&NES Council’s Clean and Green team using the Fix My Street website (https://fix.bathnes.gov.uk/). The B&NES G&G Team will then pick up on these actions for Saltford’s Clean and Green Week.
Residents can also use the Fix My Street website to report any highway priorities, reports of overhanging vegetation or cleaning of signs. SPC appreciates residents looking out for what needs doing around the village and reporting in time for the Clean and Green Team to take action.
SPC has recently reported the need for sweeping of leaves and clearing of vegetation on road markings behind the primary school and on roads by the river, so that the ‘Keep Clear Lines’ and double yellow lines remain visible for safety reasons.
