SPC communications during the Christmas and New Year period - Saltford Parish Council

Communications from Saltford Parish Council from mid-December through to after the New Year period will be limited. Please anticipate a delay in SPC responding to any contact during this period. Messages will be responded to by Saltford Parish Council as soon as possible, likely to be in early January (c.4th January onwards).

Please see our ‘Contact Us‘ page for information on how to get in touch with the Parish Office and with Councillors. Please note that the Parish Clerk is the only (part time) member of staff, and working hours and location vary.

SPC Councillors volunteer their time outside of meetings to Saltford Parish Council. As elected members, Councillors are summoned to attend meetings of the Parish Council (the time given at meetings is also unpaid). The first meeting of 2022 will take place on Tuesday 4th January, at 7:15pm in the Avon Room at Saltford Hall. A copy of the agenda for the January meeting will be made available on our ‘Meetings – Agendas and Minutes‘ page in advance of the meeting.

Please see our ‘Report It’ page for contact information for B&NES Council (including emergency contact information), the police, environmental health and other bodies and organisations.

Please note that parish Councils can only act in matters that they are responsible for and cannot undertake responsibilities belonging to other authorities, including other councils. SPC’s ‘Report It‘ page details information about how residents can report issues to the correct authority.

St Augustine’s Surgery have released a helpful list of resources to access care and support this winter. Please find the list here . There is more information on SPC’s ‘Local Community Organisations‘ page about COVID19 support.

From everyone at Saltford Parish Council, we wish all residents a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.
