Saltford Parish Council is pleased to announce the launch of the SPC Community Awards 2022.
Awards are given for an outstanding contribution, performance or commitment to Saltford. All awards are to recognise those individuals and groups that have made and are making a positive contribution to Saltford life, and who show leadership, initiative or commitment in the local community.
Categories are as follows:
- Young Person of the Year in Saltford Award
- Volunteer Team of the Year in Saltford Award
- Saltford – Achievement Award
- Business in the Community Award
Anyone can nominate an individual, group or business for a Community Award.
Nomination forms can be downloaded here and criteria information is available here. Please email completed nomination forms to clerk@saltfordparishcouncil.gov.uk
The last date to submit a nomination form is 21st February 2022. The Parish Council will discuss and agree winners during a closed session at its March 2022 meeting.
Along with public recognition for their contribution to the Saltford community at the awards ceremony, winners also will receive a certificate and £75 towards their chosen Saltford group, project, cause or charity.
The SPC Community Awards 2022 ceremony will take place on 1st April 2022 at Saltford Hall (pending regulations). The ceremony will be part of Saltford’s Annual Parish Meeting, as well as being a joint ‘big thank you’ celebration with the Saltford Community Association following the success of last year’s event. More information about the Community Awards ceremony will be shared nearer the time.
