(Temporary closure of public footpaths BA27/69 & 48 near Saltford Meads)
B&NES Council intends to introduced a temporary path closure on public footpaths BA27/69 & 48 near Saltford Meads in Saltford (near to the Wessex Water site).
The closure is to allow Wessex Water to construct a new bridge and road to Saltford Water Recycling Centre; the closure will commence on 3rd April 2023 and will last for up to six months. Signs will be in place.

(PUBLIC FOOTPATHS BA27/69 AND 48, SALTFORD MEADS, SALTFORD)
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers
under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order
to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a path closure to the section of
public footpath BA27/69 from a junction with BA27/41 at grid reference ST 6912
6887 and proceeding in a generally easterly direction for approximately 30 metres to
a junction with BA27/48 at grid reference ST 6915 68888 and the section of public
footpath BA27/48 from a junction with BA27/69 at grid reference ST 6915 68888 and
proceeding in a generally southerly direction for approximately 1170 metres to a
junction with Mead Lane at grid reference ST 6916 6788.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or
near the right of way; namely, Wessex Water are proposing to construct a new
bridge and road to Saltford Water Recycling Centre. The Order will come into force
on 3rd April 2023 and will be effective for 6 months.

Public footpath BA27/41 – Avon Lane – Mead Lane. Vice Versa.
