Update: Litter and graffiti under the railway bridge - Saltford Parish Council

SPC has recently followed up with B&NES Council about the litter and graffiti under the cycle path railway bridge, further to initially raising this issue to the attention of B&NES Council at the end of November.

Ward Cllr Duncan Hounsell has shared with SPC that B&NES Council made arrangements to remove the litter before Christmas, but this had to be postponed due to unfavourable conditions. Plans have now been made to remove it by the end of January.

As an interim measure, a team from B&NES Council has moved the litter further away from the bank to prevent it being washed away by rising river levels.

SPC has updated its report on www.fixmystreet.com to reflect this update from B&NES Council.

Once the litter has been removed, B&NES Council say they will address the graffiti issues as also raised by SPC in late November.
