WECA’s Birthday Bus free travel returns

The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) has shared that its ‘Birthday Bus’ free travel will return for another year. WECA has shared the following information:
Dan Norris, the Mayor of the West of England, has announced that the popular Birthday Buses scheme is back. This means that around one million local people can enjoy free bus travel for the month of their birthday.
Local residents can apply for their new Birthday Bus pass at BirthdayBus.co.uk, with the new year of Birthday Buses launching from 1 December 2024. People who had a Birthday Bus pass last year have been sent an e-mail to renew with just one-click.
If you’ve changed address or other details since last year, you’ll need to update them.
Young people can apply anytime before their 21st birthday to get two months of free bus travel for their birthday month and the month after.
