Public footpaths BA27/69 and 48 near Saltford Water Recycling Centre have been temporarily closed. Please see map below. This is to allow Wessex Water to build a bridge across the River Avon.
Works are are taking place on or near the public right of way. The order began 2 May 2022 and will be effective for 6 months.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE Public footpath BA27/41 – Avon Lane – Mead Lane. Vice Versa. Please note this goes through Saltford Airfield so users need to take great care. Livestock is also in this area so please remember to keep dogs on leads.
