Saltford Parish Council’s office will be closed during the Christmas and New Year period. Communications received from residents to SPC’s contact details (including via the website) from Thursday 14 December will be responded to as soon as possible after Tuesday 2 January 2024. Thank you for your patience as we catch up on correspondence following the festive period.
SPC’s January 2024 meeting will take place on Tuesday 9 January in the Wansdyke Room at Saltford Hall. Meeting information will be made available on Thursday 4 January 2023 on our ‘Meetings – Agendas and Minutes‘ page (and SPC’s noticeboard and social media).
B&NES Council’s waste and recycling schedule will change during the festive period, Saltford residents can view information including different dates for collections in the village in SPC’s news article ‘Christmas and New Year rubbish and recycling collections in Saltford‘.

If residents wish to report a matter, please be aware that Parish Councils are not permitted to act in areas that are the responsibility of other authorities, so it is key that residents approach the correct authority. Information on how to do this is listed on SPC’s ‘Report It‘ page.
If an emergency matter for B&NES Council (e.g. anything that involves public safety where there is a present danger such as a fallen tree on a highway/pavement, significant broken glass, missing manhole cover etc) then phone B&NES Council pressing ‘option 9’ for emergencies on 01225 39 40 41. More information about emergencies you can report to B&NES Council can be found on their webpage at https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/report-emergency .
